Thembisa Nxumalo Scores An Acting Gig On A New 1Magic Series. The talented television personality and actress has been cast in a new Xhosa love story series alongside other thespians.

In an Instagram post, 1Magic the official broadcast channel of the romantic series titled ‘1802 Love Defies Time’ made an announcement saying, “New show alert. Diarise 1 May as we will indulge in #1802LoveDefiesTime at 20:30. If star-crossed lovers and fantasy are your vibe you do not want to miss this show.”

The series is produced and co-created by Lulu Hela from Hela Media with some thrilling scenes expected to be delivered by Thembisa who has been cast alongside Sikelelwa Vuyelwani, Prince Grootboom and Amanda Qume.

The series is set to be about two infatuated lovers who have the desire to be together but cannot be together. Per 1Magic’s description of the sequence of events, when Khosi (Sikelelwa Vuyeleni) accepts Zuko’s proposal of marriage and starts her career as an intern doctor, she believes that her life is just beginning. She doesn’t realise that her fate has already been decided. The impossible situation of these two lovers adds to the tension and conflict, making it an exciting story.

Romantic series lovers shouldn’t miss the premiere of 1802: Love Defies Time on 1Magic (DStv channel 103) from Monday, 1 May.
