Thembi Seete Breaks Her Silence Following Reports She Almost Lost Her House. It was recently reported that veteran actress and musician Thembi Seete almost lost her house. According to the City Press publication, the Gomora actress has been in behind on her payments for her home in the affluent estate of Greenstone Hill, east of Johannesburg since last year.
Lawyers of the Strelitzia complex’s body corporate applied for a default judgment at the Pretoria High Court in January after Seete ignored a letter of demand for her to pay more than R40 000 in levy arrears and other related costs last year August. According to court papers, the body corporate appealed to the court after the actress missed 16 payments since March 1, 2019.
The amount accumulated to R52 036 by the time the time Thembi settled the account, and the court also ordered her to pay 15.5% interest on the debt. The reporting of a celebrity losing their home during a pandemic rubbed fellow industry mates and the whole of social media the wrong way and called out the publication for its poor discretion.

The actress posted a photo of herself looking gorgeous as part of her shoutout, showing that she is indeed okay. Followers and industry mates flooded her post with well wishes to show that everyone is rooting for her.
