“Tearing Another Woman Down Is Not What I Do” -Bonang Responds To Pearl Thusi

Bonang Matheba has a lot of great things happening in her career. Between all her shows and producing a new reality show for Vuzu, Queen B has no time for negativity.

Asked if she has made peace with Pearl Thusi yet, Bonang says she hasn’t and doesn’t get bothered by Pearl. “I don’t think about it, I don’t engage it, I don’t entertain it, it’s okay, you know”, she said.

Bonang said it’s time people realized there’s room for everyone in the entertainment industry, instead of bashing people, learn from them.

“I had people in the industry I looked up to. I drew inspiration from the likes of Basetsana Khumalo, Claire Mawisa and Nonhle Thema. I did the opposite, I asked them for tips and I asked them to mentor me and guide me, it never crossed my mind to try and tear another woman down. It’s not what I do”, said Queen B.

So how does she stay gracious through it all? “Best revenge is your paper”, she quoted the other queen B.
