Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a rare red carpet appearance on Monday night at the Los Angeles premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King. The superstar couple was joined by their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, as they posed for photos, adding to the glamour of the evening.

But the star power didn’t stop there. South African celebrities also made a striking appearance at the premiere. Media personality Minnie Dlamini turned heads in a misty, ethereal dress featuring see-through lace, ruffles, and floral bead details.

Lebo M, the renowned producer and composer known for his work on The Lion King soundtrack, looked sharp in a black suit paired with a black polo neck. Dr. John Kani, who voiced Rafiki in Mufasa: The Lion King, donned black attire with a leopard skin design, while his son, actor Atandwa Kani, dressed in a dark navy blue suit and black polo neck, accessorised with a black-and-white Xhosa cloth draped over his shoulder.

Also making a statement was South African actress and L’Oréal Paris ambassador Thuso Mbedu, who showcased her unique style with black and white braids styled in Bantu knots.

The evening was a true celebration of both Hollywood and South African talent, making the premiere an unforgettable red carpet event.
