Sorisha Naidoo Hilariously Shares Steps to Getting a Birkin Bag

Real Housewives of Durban star Sorisha Naidoo had fans laughing after sharing her definitely not serious guide to scoring the ultimate luxury handbag — the iconic Hermès Birkin. Spoiler alert: it involves manifesting, meditation, and a whole lot of Hermes shopping.

The hilarious moment was shared by Showmax, who posted a clip of Sorisha giving “tips” with the caption: “We love it when Real Housewives give us tips on how to secure real housewife things. Sorisha is giving us tips on how to secure the only bag that matters.”

With a straight face and a cheeky tone, Sorisha jokingly shared the top-secret process: “I’m about to tell you how you can get a Birkin,” she began. “Firstly, every morning I would wake up and I’d have a manuscript, and every day I would write, ‘I would like a Birkin’ and I would do that 70 to 80 times.”

As if that wasn’t dramatic enough, she added, “Then I would go outside in my garden, ground myself, meditate, and visualise that Birkin in my hand.” But wait, the “serious” part of her playful advice came next: “So, I did this for quite a while, but then seriously and a very serious step, I realised that I had to buy stuff from Hermes to get that Birkin.”

Her “Birkin checklist”? “Some watches, some sneakers, some heels, some cutlery, a bag or two that’s not a Birkin but it’s Hermes… and then eventually they’ll say to you, ‘You are Birkin worthy. Ta-da!’”

Sorisha once revealed on The Real Housewives of Durban that it actually took her seven years to finally get her Birkin bag.

In the comments section, fellow RHOD cast member Jojo Robinson joined the fun by jokingly flexing her own luxurious lifestyle. She wrote, “@sorishanaidoo but do you have a heated indoor pool. 37°, sometimes 39°. I set the temp on my phone.. just sayin… The construction place only let me build the indoor pool because I already had an outdoor pool, steam room in my spa, gym, movie theatre and jacuzzi… twinsies…”

Sorisha replied with love, saying, “@mrs.jojo.robinson Love you. Jo, come visit my mall when you are free.”
