Sophie Lichaba Details How Mzansi Turned A Blind Eye To Her Pain! Sophie Lichaba has once again opened up on the ordeal she went through after she started losing weight.
Speaking on Afternoon Express, the Lockdown actress highlighted that she was ridiculed and cruel remarks made about her wait loss. According to TshisaLive Sophie said the cruel remarks and jokes that she was dying affected both her business and private life.
“I think South African’s don’t realize the pain and stress of losing half yourself and think its a joke,” she said.
“…people who once trusted you with R10 million or R5 million for their projects, when you are dying why would they ever give you a contract? It was the challenge of losing a lot”, she added.
In another interview with TimesLive Sophie opened up about her husband Max Lichaba still receiving messages from people telling him he’s with a dying woman.
“My husband is still receiving messages from silly women saying ‘that woman is not for you, she is dying but I’m better’ so you understand it is a constant fight with the world” said Lichaba.
