Media personality and radio presenter Somizi Mhlongo has revealed his festive season plans – and let’s just say, he won’t be getting much rest this December. The star shared that he will be fully booked from 28 November 2025 to 29 December 2025, proving once again why he remains one of the most in-demand entertainers in Mzansi.
December in South Africa is all about bright colours, chilled vibes, fun events and relaxation. But for Somizi, it seems the season will be filled with travel, performances and non-stop work. When he posted his full schedule on Instagram, he simply captioned it, “Ku Busy.” The image was titled Somizi Gig Guide, and it truly lives up to the name.
His adventure starts on 28 November at the South African Civil Aviation Authority Awards. From there, things only get busier. On 29 November alone, Somizi has four gigs lined up. He will first attend the Metro FM Heatwave in Durban, then head to Pretoria for the Kota Festival. After that, he’ll move to the 013 Summer Blaze MP event before ending the night at MQ Fest. It’s a marathon schedule, but Somizi is clearly ready for the challenge.
Fans will be happy to know that he does have a few rest days. Somizi will be off on 18 December and again on Christmas Day. But the break won’t last long — after the celebrations, he’s back on the road, ending his December run in Europe on 29 December 2025.
One of the most anticipated highlights on his list is the Babyface concert at SunBet Arena in Pretoria. Somizi will be part of the event on the 12th and 13th of December, and fans are already excited to see him there. He’ll also appear at the Amathole Awards in Durban before jetting off overseas.
