Somizi Reacts To Reports Alleging He Is Dating Again. Celebrity dating rumours are a norm on social media even though most of the cases are simply based on suspicions. Somizi Mhlongo has also previously been linked to other celebs who have turned out to be just good friends including award winning musician Vusi Nova. The former Idols SA judge recently confirmed that he is in the midst of a divorce from his estranged husband Mohale Motaung and the rumour mill is already suspecting that may be off the market.
Taking to Instagram, Somizi shared a screen grab of a post alleging that he has found love again with a childhood friend. Mhlongo poured cold water over the allegations, sharing his frustration of not being able to have a male acquaintance because the media will suspect that they are dating. Mhlongo highlighted how reports will link him to new people all the time because he has so many male friends.
The veteran apologized to his friend that he is rumoured to be dating in the picture and urged him to enjoy the lime light because it will be given to some one else very soon.
“Eish hayi kwazekwanzima…ngaze ngalithwala idombolo….so im not allowed to be seen with any male….kushukuthi ngisazo finder mos ama new loves….kumnandi kwa singlehood mos… @b_bongzie .askies my friend dont worry u will be replaced soon enjoy it whilst this new love lasts lol” he wrote.
Somizi’s celebrity friends commented on the post sharing how he has become an easy target for these kinds of allegations simply because of his relationship status
The former Metro FM host previously shared a series of pictures on social media with a male friend and Mzansi was already alleging they are an item. The post gain a lot of attention and forced Somizi to turn on the comment section which he had previously disabled. Mhlongo responding to the suspicions on social media users claiming the male was just a friend and he knows nothing about a new partner.
“Bathong fam [please] rest [I] never said boyfriend I said boi…..yhu andizi there (I’m not going there) anytime soon.” he wrote.
Since his toxic marriage was exposed in the media through a viral audio alleging that he was abusive husband to Mohale, Somizi has been throwing himself in his work and has returned to his first love which is choreographing following a two year break.
In a previous Instagram post, Somgaga revealed that he has returned to his first love of dancing and choreographing following a lengthy hiatus. The celebrity cook shared a video of himself teaching a routine to his dance class which was scheduled for two days. The former SA Idols judge shared that his comeback to the world of dancing feels very good and couldn’t have come at a better time.
