Somizi Defends Himself For Always Being Booked And Busy. Television and media personality Somizi always makes sure to bring the party which is why career opportunities stay heading his way and some people are bashing him for not giving others a chance.

The reality star recently revealed the news of his new cooking show which will be premiering on Mzansi Magic and has since received backlash from social media that he is taking all the jobs and not opening up the industry.

Somgaga responded to some of the scrutiny on twitter however only replying to some of the questions from his followers.

“People tend to forget that the entertainment industry in SA is very fickle, short lived and grossly underpaid in comparison to Hollywood. Multiple streams of income are needed to survive in this cutthroat industry. Somizi is doing what he has to do. Periodt” Somizi wrote.

He went in to detail in an open letter on Instagram saying if he apologized for his many talents, he wouldn’t have had the success that he has today.

“Imagine if I believed every no I heard or was told? Where would I be? Imagine if (I) apologised for the many talents I’ve been blessed with, I would have (not) ended in Sarafina, I’d never have choreographed Miss SA, Miss World, the World Cup opening and closing, I’d never have hosted the SAMA’s three times in a row” he said.
