Skeem Saam’s Pebetsi Matlaila Survives Car Accident After Failed Attempted Hijack. Life is a fragile thing which is why Skeem Saam actress Pebetsi Matlaila is super grateful to still be alive after criminals targeted her in attempt to hijack her.

The actress took to Instagram to detail the horrifying story of the the night that she and her family were subjected to a very traumatic incident that could have ended very badly.

According to the actress, on Friday night she was on her way home from the airport when she and her family were involved in an accident while trying to escape an attempted hijacking. Luckily the passengers only sustained minor injuries and everyone is thankfully safe.

“On Friday night, my family and I were involved in a car accident while escaping an attempted hijacking” she wrote.

According to the Daily Sun, the actress was with her husband and daughter during the incident and they were immediately treated for shock.

The actress recently revealed that she and her husband are expecting baby number two. Thankfully, she was treated as a priority because she is pregnant, and she gave her followers light on the benefits of having a medical aid.

“We often take it for granted but its important to have such, even with the little we have” she said.

The actress mentioned how people are desperate to make ends meet and will do anything for money, which is why it’s important to be alert at all times while on the road.

Matlaila shared a post on Instagram to show update her followers about how things turned out after the incident and she and th family are all safe and excitedly awaiting the arrival of the little.

“Thank God for my family (as strange as we may be together #realityshow vibes ??) they stopped everything to drive all the way here from their different locations JUST to come check up on us after the Accident on Friday. And now we celebrate life and Praise the All Mighty together” she wrote.
