Skeem Saam Actress Makgofe Moagi Remembers Her Near Death Experience On Her Twins First Birthday. Actress Makgofe is very grateful for having escaped death by the skin of her teeth in 2018 wile she was pregnant with her twins.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Moagi opened up about her near death hospital experience in the ICU when nobody believed that she was expecting.

“Nothing fazes me in this world. I almost died, 2018 in ICU. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to everyone, I’m pregnant. I remember telling the doctors and radiographers to check if I’m not pregnant and they all dismissed that as drugged-up patient talk, but deep down in my soul I knew I was,” she shared” she said.

The actress who is now the proud mother of twins Cayden and Gabby shared that she’s suffered from a condition called endometriosis, which is a painful disorder when the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus grows outside your uterus.

Moapi shared her gratitude of surviving the traumatic ordeal with both her children and that her experience was a teachable moment for her that life is filled with unexpected twists and turns.

“My ICU experience showed me that no one has everything figured out – never, impossible” she wrote.
