Simphiwe Ngema Bags A New Role. Since the lockdown began last year, we have seen so many pregnancy announcements from our favourite celebrities, and we have since been enjoying watching them evolve into the mama bears that they have now become. Actress and musician Simphiwe Ngema has been off the radar in terms of acting since taking a break and having her son Tiyani and now that the little guy is growing, the new mom is back.
Taking to instagram the former Muvhango actress shared the exciting news of her new role in an upcoming film titled Slay and will soon debut on Netflix on April 26th. Ngema also shared a very important sentiment about her work ethic, which is a healthy mixture of faith and keeping your big moves on the low until fruition.
“Because God says, at the right time I’ll make it happen. Ng’libele ng’khona, ng’libele ngiyaba Ngena, ng’libele ng’yabangenelela. I’ve learnt to move in silence” she wrote.
Her followers have since been flooding her post with congratulatory messages, sharing how happy they are to see her making a come back to the small screen since her role on the SABC 2 production Bone Of My Bones, playing the character of Ruth.
The actress has been very open about her weight loss journey and is always posting progress videos and photos to document her journey to reaching 80Kg’s. Now that we know what all that hard work has been for, we are super excited to see Simphiwe do what she does best. The tea about the production has yet to be spilt but other familiar faces who have been revealed as part of the production cast, is Skeem Saam actress Amanda Du Pont.
