SA Celebs Express Their Annoyance With Rasta’s Botched Celebrity Paintings. Another iconic media veteran has fallen and Rasta is back at it again with his notorious paintings that seem to be very unpopular with crowd.

Bob Mabena was laid to rest this weekend and Rasta debuted his painting of the radio veteran that rubbed many people including celebrities, the wrong way.

Ayanda Thabethe was one of the many who commented on the portrait saying that she is annoyed of seeing Rasta and his misrepresenting art pieces that keep getting coverage, when many other talented artists are being overlooked.

“I hate that they keep covering this guy and giving him airtime. We have so many talented artists who are serious about their craft and not these gimmicks” she said.

TV personality Claire Mawisa and many other celebs who felt the same, voiced their disapproval of the painter saying that Rasta should no longer be allowed near funerals and he is to be let nowhere near their funerals.

rasta should not be allowed near funerals anymore. it's become a running joke in this country. the attention he gets from media, as a side show to the main event, is starting to feel insensitive for those who are grieving.

Please mark this tweet. The day of my funeral, please may I kindly not be sketched by Rasta. Ka hlompho please 🙏🏽

May I never be famous to a point that Rasta has to sketch me. Am too pretty for his crayons.
