SA Celeb Friendships That Have Fizzled Out (Part1). It’s normal for people to outgrow some friendships at some point in their lives but we have noticed that celebs are outgrowing a few friendships quicker than we expected. It’s never really straight forward as to why the friendship didn’t work out but it is rather evident in the way they eliminate the so called “bff” in a hot minute.
Here are a few celeb friendships that lost their spark over the year.
Natasha Thahane & Lasiwe
In an interview the YouTuber eluded to him not being friends with the actress anymore and confirmed the tension by revealing that they no longer follow each other on social media. Actress Natasha Thahane has also spoken candidly about what led to her friendship with Lasizwe Dambuza fizzling out on MacG on “Podcast and Chill”, saying she was not pleased with how Lasizwe decided to make her fallout with Ntando Duma public knowledge on one of his YouTube shows.
DJ Zinhle & Lerato Kganyago
It was recently revealed as to why DJ duo Lerato Kganyago and DJ Zinhle are not as tight as before. In an interview with talk show host Toke Makinwa, the Indlovu hitmaker revealed that she had no idea that Kganyago was tying the knot and she also didn’t receive an invite to the exclusive private wedding. Lerato also spoke on the friendship saying she was disappointed in Zinhle for sharing half truths about her getting an invite to the ceremony. Lerato revealed that she was not on the best terms with Zinhle’s other crew so the Era business owner was the only one who received an invite. This eventually led to her distancing herself from the group but she still has love for Zinhle.
Bonang & Lorna Maseko
Lorna and Bonang have always had an on again and off again friendship and the current status of the friendship seems to be off. The two spent a lot of time together during the filming of Being Bonang season 2 But recently, fans have noticed that they are hardly in each others lives. Social media users noticed that the two stopped attending each others events and also stopped posting sending each other fancy gifts and posting sweet birthday messages on social media.
Natasha Thahane & Ntando Duma
The two have not yet addressed what exactly happened between the two of them but Ntando Duma did make it certain that she and Natasha are not friends at all. Ntando first denied knowing who Natasha is then question where Lasizwe got his information about her friendship with Natasha. Duma continued to deny her friendship with the actress, claiming that taking pictures with someone does not mean that you are best friends.
Unathi & Sizwe Dhlomo
Unathi and Sizwe Dhlomo recently had a fall out after the former friends sadly ended their friendship over office politics that saw Unathi accusing Sizwe of emotional abuse and eventually led to Nkayi losing her job at the station. Unathi further confirmed the bad blood between her and Sizwe in a video claiming that she is taking legal action against the station after they tried to silence her.
