Rihanna looks “perfect” in Dior’s latest campaign.
The ‘Rude Boy’ hitmaker – who has become the first black woman to front ads for the luxury French label after signing on as their latest face in March – looks breathtaking in the images which were released from their Secret Garden campaign, shot in France in the Palace of Versailles.
The campaign was captured by photographer Steven Klein who gushed over the 27-year-old singer’s mysterious and intriguing look.
He said in a statement: “Rihanna’s mystery and intrigue combined with her razor-sharp looks and sensibility, are the essential, perfect elements to create the stage for Secret Garden.”
The brand also shared a sneak peak of the video campaign on their Instagram account – which shows the raven-haired beauty prancing up a flight of stairs – ahead of its official release on May 18.
They wrote alongside the clip: “May 18th. She’s coming. #SecretGarden4”.
Rihanna recently admitted it felt “fantastic” to have been selected as the first black woman to front Dior, adding the team up “means a lot” to her and describing the ads as a “big deal”.
She said: “It feels fantastic. It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour. I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just… it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless.”
The advert is the fourth video released by the brand as part of their Secret Garden campaign.
The three previous instalments have all featured models, including Daria Strokus, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju, walking through the palace’s decorative gardens, situated on the outskirts of Paris.
