Renowned media personality and radio presenter Relebogile Mabotja is back with the highly anticipated second season of her hit YouTube show, Unpacked. The new season, titled Unpacked: The Second Chapter, launches on Tuesday, 26 November, and promises deeper storytelling and fresh perspectives on past episodes.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Relebogile expressed her excitement for the show’s return. “What inspired the second chapter was finding out new information about some of the cases we’ve had on the show and seeing interesting turnarounds. Viewers also had so many questions, so we thought, ‘Let’s catch up with these guests and ask them not only about their lives now but also about the viewers’ comments.’ It’s a way to explore how their lives have changed after being on the show,” she explained.
Relebogile shared a powerful story that will feature this season. “A story I can share is about a man who completely turned his life around—from being a priest in a Satanic church to finding Jesus, becoming born again, and choosing Christ as his Lord and Saviour. It’s incredible how much a person’s life can change in just one, two, or three years.”
She hopes the new season will leave viewers inspired. “I hope viewers feel hopeful that anything can happen in life. Some of our guests’ stories were quite dire and difficult, but they’ve used their struggles as superpowers, carrying their burdens with such grace,” she said.
In addition to Unpacked: The Second Chapter, Relebogile recently launched The Relebogile Mabotja Podcast, featuring in-depth conversations with influential figures like Msaki and Sello Maake kaNcube.
