Reality TV personality Wandi Ndlovu is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The This Body Works for Me star is reportedly set to appear in court this week following the shocking death of her uncle, Linda Ndlovu, after a violent family altercation in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.
According to The Citizen, the 26-year-old reality star, her mother, and her sister Ntombifuthi Ndlovu are currently behind bars in connection with the incident. The three women are expected to appear in Palm Ridge Court tomorrow as investigations into the stabbing continue.
The tragic event allegedly happened in the early hours of last month. Sources suggest the family dispute started over something as simple as loud music. Police and insiders revealed that the confrontation happened between midnight and 3 a.m. from Friday into Saturday.
Reports claim that Wandi’s uncle Linda, who stayed in a backroom on the family property, was playing loud music. Wandi’s mother reportedly went to ask him to turn it down. That’s when a heated argument broke out, and Linda allegedly hit his sister (Wandi’s mother) on the head with a golf club, leaving her bleeding.
The mother ran back to the main house injured, and that’s when Wandi, Ntombifuthi, and another sister (a Grade 11 student) allegedly confronted Linda. According to a family insider, “One of them stabbed the uncle during the confrontation.” When paramedics arrived, it was too late—Linda had died from his injuries.
The Grade 11 sibling, who is a minor, has since been released. However, Wandi, her mother, and Ntombifuthi remain in custody at Sun City Prison while police complete their investigations. So far, there has been no official police statement about the case.
The shocking incident has rocked the Katlehong community. Adding more drama, a voice note allegedly recorded by Wandi’s aunt—an eyewitness—has been circulating online, fueling public debate.
Linda, believed to be the family’s breadwinner, reportedly supported relatives financially while living in the backroom of the family home. Wandi, who is said to have recently returned from Nigeria claiming she was married, had built the house where the tragedy occurred.
