Popular soapie Actor Mutodi Nesheshe Dies. The entertainment industry has been going through a lot lately with all the losses, and it looks like the condolences are still to come. It is with great sadness that we confirm reports of yet another talented award winning actor Mutodi Nesheshe has passed away.
The news of the actors death was revealed through a statement shared by his family on social media. Nesheshe was well known for his role as Zola, who was Karabo Moroka’s second husband on Generations as well as Ndalamo Mukwevho on the popular soapie Muvhango.
The actor died on Thursday at the age of 46. No further details about his death are known at this time however, the family has asked for space and privacy to deal with the painful loss.
“It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mutodi Neshehe on July 1, 2021. He was our brother, uncle, father, mentor, role model and actor. He will be sorely missed by his family and close friends,” the statement read.
The whole of social media has since buzzing with tributes and condolences for the late actor using a hashtag that has been trending in his memory. Local actors have also been sharing posts dedicated to the actor, sharing how shook they are by his sudden passing.
