Pics! Inside Zakes Bantwini’s Star Studded Birthday Celebration. There’s a lot to celebrate lately for musician Zakes Bantwini. The ‘Osama’ hitmaker just turned forty something(as he’s dubbing it) and he’s leading the South African Music Awards nominations with an impressive seven nods.

Some of the major categories Zakes is nominated in include Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Best Dance Album and Record of the Year. To celebrate all his latest achievements and his birthday, Zakes held an intimate black tie celebration event held at the Houghton Hotel.

The event was attended by Zakes family and friends including his industry peers. Some of the famous faces spotted were his wife Nandi Madida, Robert Marawa, Boity, Da LES, Ms Cosmo, Zwai Bala, DJ Sbu and Sol Phenduka.
