It’s funny how we always assume that actors have always known that they will one day entertain a whole nation with exciting roles on some of Mzansi’s popular TV shows. Clearly How To Ruin Christmas is one of the many celebs who chose a different career path but didn’t exactly follow through with it. Taking to Instagram, Sandile Mahlangu shared that he had his heart set out on being an electric engineer.
The Scandal actor took to his IG story to reveal that he graduated in 2018, majoring in electrical engineering. We can’t help but be happy that the TV heartthrob chose the entertainment field, because that would have been a major loos for local TV lovers. Sandile has a pretty impressive acting catalogue which includes popular shows such as SABC1’s comedy show about three bachelors trying to find the right lady while figuring out who they are and what the meaning of life really is.
Another award winning show that you may recognize Mahlangu from is Mzansi Magics youth drama Isithembiso and many more. Sandile is not a one trick pony as he also dabbles in other field within the media industry including modelling, dancing.
Congratulations are definitely in order for his achievement but we can’t help but assume that many are delighted that he went a completely different route.
