Pearl Thusi Reacts To Social Media User Claiming She Gets Her Netflix Gigs From The Government. No matter how hard Pearl Thusi tries, it seems like the streets of twitter will always be against her. This after her attempt to engage in a meaningful conversation with her followers went down south very fast. The Queen Sono posed a valid question to the community of twitter about the government that is currently doing a shady job in leading the country.
Taking to twitter, the Queen Sono actress asked her followers what the government has done for the country apart from misusing funds and corruption. The answers that were coming through from the public were quite amusing until a few people took the opportunity to throw shade at Pearl as per usual.
“Apart from corruption, what else does the South African Government do well? (10 marks)” she wrote.
A number of trolls responded to Pearl‘s innocent question with fiery responses and accusations about how she bagged some of her major career gigs. A social media user responded to Thusi’s question claiming that the government hands out opportunities like lead roles on the world biggest streaming service, which is Netflix. Pearl Thusi made history by being the first actress to star in the first ever South African Netflix original production Queen Sono.
The mother of two simply laughed off the allegations and claimed that the thought of that is very amusing to her. Another social media user accused her of being a pawn for the government used to lure the public in for more votes. The actress responded to the accusations claiming that her arms were crossed in the picture on purpose. She also added that she had made it clear that she was actively promoting any political party purely on the basis of money.
The former Isidingo actress claims that if she knew what she does about the government today back then, she probably wouldn’t have done the campaign. She admitted to also doing promotions for the Democratic Alliance part (DA) which is also an eyebrow raising move, but a girl gotta eat right?
This went left very fast don’t you think?
