Pearl Modiadie On How She And Thomas Bagged The SAFTAs13 Hosting Gig! Earlier this week the Metro FM duo was announced the main event hosts for this year’s edition of the SAFTAs.

Despite Pearl being a LIVE TV goddess, she still had to audition for this job and she gave her radio co-host and now SAFTAs co-host Thomas Msengana some tips that helped them secure the job.

“With every audition, I take it very seriously. I give them already at the audition what I will give on stage – hair, make-up, clothing and delivery. I advised Thomas to do the same and he showed up in a suit for the audition. Two weeks later we got it,” she told Sowetan.
