Reality stars Sabelo Ncube, known as Papa Ghost, and Lerato Modise from Big Brother Mzansi S’Ya Mosha Season 4 are teaming up for an exciting new theatre project titled #Baleka.
The project marks the duo’s first collaboration and aims to celebrate and commemorate the historic June 16th. Produced by Lerato Modise and directed and written by Sabelo Ncube, #Baleka promises to be a powerful exploration of social issues through compelling storytelling.
Papa Ghost shared his excitement on Instagram, writing, “Hello all. This marks a key point on my journey as a storyteller. #Baleka is ALIVE, and we are going to make so much noise about the current state of affairs in our nation through riveting grounded stories. THE YOUTH IS THE FUTURE. Let’s goooooo.”
The highly anticipated production will premiere at the Civic Centre Theatre in Emalahleni City on June 22nd.
In addition to this project, Lerato Modise recently launched a board game for kids. The game, which focuses on the African continent, aims to teach young people about their origins and the connectivity between countries.
With #Baleka, Papa Ghost and Lerato Modise are set to make a significant impact, bringing important narratives to the forefront and inspiring the youth through their creative endeavours.
