Oscar Mbo and Lerato Phasha Celebrate the Arrival of Their Baby

DJ and producer Oscar Mbo and his partner Lerato Phasha have just welcomed their first child together, and fans couldn’t be happier for the couple.

Taking to social media, the Vuka hitmaker shared the exciting news that their little one had arrived. The announcement came as a surprise to many, as the couple had kept their pregnancy journey completely private. In a heartfelt post, Oscar Mbo  wrote, “A faithful God. Glory!”, expressing deep gratitude for this special moment.

To mark the occasion, Oscar Mbo shared a cozy and intimate pregnancy photo shoot of the couple. Both he and Lerato wore matching denim jeans and simple white tops, with Lerato proudly showing off her baby bump in loose-fitting jeans. The photos captured their love and happiness, while a short video showed Oscar Mbo holding their newborn at the hospital and dancing with joy.

The new parents didn’t hold back in the comment section either. Lerato wrote, “I love you so much babe,” to which Oscar Mbo replied , “I love you long time, sunshine.” Their loving exchange warmed the hearts of fans and followers.

Shortly after the post went up, celebrities and fans flooded the comment section with congratulations. DJ and producer Kelvin Momo wrote, “Bro Bro. Congratulations!” DJ and performer Durban Gogo added, “Congratulations,” while actress and dancer Bontle Modiselle commented, “Blessings!!! Congratulations family!”

While the baby news was kept a secret until the birth, Oscar Mbo has always been open about his relationship with Lerato. In an interview with True Love magazine last year, the DJ revealed that they’ve been together for three years and that he’s never felt the need to hide his love life.

“This is nothing huge for me. It is my real life. It is not something that I feel like I have to hide. It is part of my love language. I am that guy! I’m comfortable, I’m happy, so it is not a matter of effort—for me, it is part of who I am,” he said.

Oscar Mbo also spoke about how proud he is to love publicly, not for appearances but because it genuinely brings him joy. “I don’t do it for her, I do it for me. It makes me happy because it is something I am living by and I take pride in. I invest a lot in my happiness and she is part of my happiness.”

Now, with a new addition to their family, Oscar and Lerato have even more to celebrate as they step into this beautiful chapter of parenthood together.
