Whilst some actresses would be comfortable with just the level of success she’s attained in the entertainment industry, it wasn’t enough for Nomzamo Mbatha who went back to varsity after dropping out a few years ago.
Nomzamo has finally completed her BCom Accounting degree and has received her qualification letter. What makes it even more special is how she received the letter on the 15th of February, exactly thirteen years after her father passed away.
With this accounting degree, a new world of opportunity has opened for Nomzamo as well as other women accountant graduates. Many accountants go to work in one of South Africa’s budding businesses but many go abroad as well. In the UK – one of the biggest financial hubs in the world – there is a large demand for accountants. From attending small business financial services (see this link for more details of what that includes https://www.rosspartners.co.uk/financial-services-london/) to one of the giant accounting firms like PwC, there are plenty of opportunities that South African accounting graduates can choose from.
Where Nomzamo will go next is uncertain, what we do know is that she is very proud of her achievement and the significance her degree has in her life.
Whilst many people will be happy and perfectly well serviced by talking to a firm like Accountant Town to help them understand their accounting needs, Nomzamo was driven to take the full education into her own hands.
The actress took to social media sharing what the moment meant for her. “15 February 2005 The day I lost my father and my world fell apart. 15 February 2018 The day I received my Qualification letter for my BCom Accounting degree. The circle of life…,” she tweeted.

“Miss Mbatha has met the requirements for the award of the qualification (degree)
and is thus able to be employed as a graduate or proceed with further studies….”
I might just cry.

And now Nomzamo has decided to bless other girls graduating with her with glam on the day of graduation.
1. I want to fly down 4 make up artists and open a Glam room at a Res (UCT).
Free make up for ladies who are graduating that day.
One less thing to worry about on your big day. First come first serve…
Good or bad idea guys? ?
RT if I should ?
