Natasha Thahane Reveals The Production That Landed Her In Hospital. The entertainment industry is a hard place to conquer and it definitely not for the faint hearted. we have seen reports of many celebs having to take a break from the cut throat industry just to work on their mental health. One of the celebs that recently had to be hospitalized due to a toxic work environment is Blood And Water actress Natasha Thahane, and she has now revealed where it all started.
On the recent episode of MacG’s celebrity edition Podcast And Chill show, Natasha Thahane was on the hot seat and she spilt the tea on her personal life and thriving acting career. Even though social media users have labelled the episode as “boring”, we found a few things she said quite interesting.
MacG asked the actress how true the statement of her going to hospital is because of the toxic environment from one of the sets she has worked on. MacG thought the the production was Mzansi Magic’s The Queen however, Thahane revealed that it was actually the set of BET’s Isono and she wishes that things turned out differently.
“I think there was so much happening at the time, it was Isono and I would like to apologize to the producers for the way I handles things.” she said.
The actress added that the fight between her and the production was really unprofessional, especially because she prefers handling her battles behind the scenes.
A few months ago Natasha Thahane who plays the role of Millicent on Isono revealed that she had reached her breaking point. The entertainment had taken a toll on Natasha’s physical and mental health to the point where she had to be hospitilized. Taking to social media Natasha admitted that she was not coping and shared a picture of herself getting an IV drip in hospital.
The actress had her fans on social media worried when she shared that she wasn’t coping in the industry because of its toxicity.
“I’m working in a TOXIC environment. It’s been affecting my mental & physical health. I AM NOT COPYING!!!!” she wrote.
The actress cleared the up the drama claiming that there was a lot that she was going through personally because of COVID-19 which took away a lot of people that she loves. The stress of having to work and not being able to attend funerals to get closure really affected her mental health and she expressed it the wrong way. Natasha shared that after taking a break, she was able to heal and she is now in a good place.
