Media personality, fashion entrepreneur, and Miss South Africa 2023, Natasha Joubert, has shared some exciting news — she’s going to be a mom! Natasha announced that she and her husband, Enrico Vermaak, are expecting their first child together.
The former Miss South Africa revealed the heartwarming news on Monday, 27 October 2025, through a touching Instagram video. The clip showed the couple enjoying a peaceful day at the beach, with Natasha proudly showing off her growing baby bump and a glimpse of their baby’s sonogram.
In the video caption, the couple shared, “The last 5 months… we’ve been keeping the sweetest secret.”
Their announcement was met with love and excitement from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities. The comment section was filled with warm wishes and messages of joy. Model Sarah Langa congratulated the couple, writing, “Congratulations to you gorgeous! I can’t wait to witness you being the most amazing mom! What a gorgeous family.”

She also opened up about the emotional side of her pregnancy journey, calling it “sacred” and reflecting on the challenges she’s faced. “We’ve wanted to ensure everything is healthy & done our anatomy scan before making it public. I want to share my entire journey — there is a lot that comes with being pregnant, and I have been challenged mentally, physically, and psychologically throughout,” Natasha shared.
Despite the ups and downs, she expressed her happiness and gratitude, saying, “I have had so many turbulences with friendships, work, and really felt guilty for not just feeling joyous. I wanted to ensure I work through a lot so that now I can fully embrace and feel all the amazing emotions. Enrico & I are on cloud 10000000. We love this little one so much!”
