Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala Celebrates 15 Years Since Miss Universe 2011

South African model, beauty pageant titleholder and National Director for Miss Universe South Africa and Miss World South Africa, Bokang Montjane Tshabalala, is celebrating a special milestone in her pageant journey.

The beauty queen recently marked 15 years since she represented South Africa at Miss Universe 2011, looking back on a memorable moment that remains an important part of her career.

In a joint Instagram post with The Pageant Prince, Bokang’s journey to the international stage was remembered through a video showing her walking onto the stage and being introduced as she represented South Africa.

The post reflected on the significance of the moment and celebrated Bokang’s achievement all these years later.

The caption wrote, “Today 15 years ago the Absolutely Gorgeous Miss South Africa 2010 @bokang_m represented South Africa at Miss Universe 2011. Miss Universe 2011 was the 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, held on the 12 September 2011 at Credicard Hall, São Paulo, Brazil.”

The throwback gave fans and pageant lovers a chance to revisit a moment that helped cement Bokang’s place in South African pageantry.

Bokang’s pageant journey extends beyond her Miss South Africa title. After being crowned Miss South Africa 2010, she became the official representative of her country at the Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2011 pageants.

Her impressive pageant career also includes participating in Miss International 2009 and placing in the Top 16 at Miss Earth 2007.

At Miss World 2011, Bokang finished as one of the Top 7 finalists and was named Miss World Africa, adding another major achievement to her international pageant career.

Fifteen years later, Bokang continues to remain involved in the pageant industry, now taking on an influential role as a National Director for Miss Universe South Africa and Miss World South Africa.
