Nandi Madida Reacts To Her Son’s Schoolmate’s Calling Her Nala. Singer and actress Nandi Madida has been living her ancestors wildest dreams as her role as Nala in Beyoncé’s hit visual album Black Is King, but many felt her story was farfetched, when she claimed that toddlers at her son’s school called her by her character’s name.

Nandi took to Twitter to gush over the success of her career, including her role as Nala on Black Is King, stating that the news has now even reached the attention of the toddlers from her son’s school.

“Dropped my son at school and it’s been a while (we haven’t been to school since March) and I realised today that to some of Shaka’s toddler school friends I am now ‘Nala’. I hear ‘Wow! Shaka’s mom is Nala. Black Is King!’ The power of Disney” Nandi wrote.

The masses found the now deleted tweet hard to believe and called her out, claiming it is impossible for toddlers to be able to come to this conclusion by themselves and soon flooded memes on Madida’s TL weighing in on the star’s comments, however the actress just laughed off the scrutiny.

“Even I am laughing at the comments. Twitter is the most entertaining platform. It’s an extreme sport and not for the faint-hearted. No-one is safe. You have to know how to laugh at yourself” she wrote.
