Congratulations are in order for reality TV star and well-known polygamist Musa Mseleku and his fifth wife, Samke ‘MaKhwela’ Khwela! The couple is expecting their first baby together, and fans couldn’t be happier for them.
The eighth season of Uthando Nes’thembu has been full of surprises, especially after Mseleku introduced MaKhwela as his new wife. Viewers were left shocked in the latest episode when MaKhwela revealed her pregnancy.
Mseleku, who already has ten children, has always made it clear that he wants to grow his family even bigger. He has three children with MaCele, three with MaYeni, two with MaNgwabe, and two with other women. Now, with MaKhwela by his side, it looks like his dream is coming true once again.
The pregnancy announcement happened during a romantic getaway the couple took after Mseleku was recently hospitalised. They spent some quality time together, going on a beautiful game drive before settling down for a lovely picnic. It was during this quiet and special moment that MaKhwela gave Mseleku the surprise of a lifetime — a positive pregnancy test.
Mseleku couldn’t hide his emotions. He was overjoyed and even teared up when he heard the news. His reaction showed just how much this meant to him, especially after dealing with doubts from others about his ability to have more children.
An excited Mseleku asked, “Are you sure?” to which MaKhwela replied, “Yes, we are pregnant.” Overcome with happiness, Mseleku exclaimed, “I feel like dancing!”
MaKhwela admitted that she didn’t expect him to be this excited. “I didn’t expect him to be this excited. I thought he was going to be like, ‘Oh yes, another one,’ because he already has kids,” she shared with a big smile.
For Mseleku, this news came at the perfect time. “Some people concluded that I don’t have it in me anymore. Doubt was planted in the minds of people who are listening and watching. In my household, there is a lot of skepticism about my capabilities. MaKhwela has given me a ticket. It doesn’t matter what people say,” he said proudly.
Although MaKhwela has faced some criticism because of the age gap between her and Mseleku, she has made it clear that it doesn’t bother her. In an earlier episode, she explained, “I am in my 20s, and I don’t think age is an issue when it comes to my relationship with Mthombeni. I also don’t think people should make it an issue.”
