After Trevor Noah bailed out on us as the host at the MAMAs this past weekend, the ever so ready Bonang Matheba stepped up to the plate to host the gig with a record breaking 24 hours of preparation. This is how much Bonang reportedly got for her last minute MAMA gig.
Whilst we all knew that came with some real life money, we now have an idea of how much Bonang bagged. According Zalebs, Bonang reportedly went home around half a million rand richer after hosting the MAMAs.
Bonang also agreed to hosting the biggest event in African music on the condition that Bonang agreed to hosting the event they fly her stylist, Harrison Crite from New York. We’re just going to go ahead and agree with Somizi and Cassper Nyovest and say she’s in the league of her own. Go get your money girl!
