South African composer, singer, and songwriter Asanda Lusaseni Mvana, known as Msaki, has launched a foundation named after one of her popular songs, “Fetch Your Life.” The new foundation marks a significant milestone for Msaki, who recently took a hiatus from making music to reconnect with her family and focus on personal growth.
During her break, Msaki found the time and inspiration to establish the Fetch Your Life Foundation. According to its Instagram page, the foundation aims to inspire individuals to move towards their purpose and self-actualize, ultimately raising the collective consciousness and vibration of society. The foundation echoes the message of Msaki’s song “Fetch Your Life,” which encourages living in alignment with one’s dreams and gifts.
Msaki recently shared her motivation for starting the foundation on Instagram, reflecting on her journey: “Three years ago I started asking myself about what lived under the songs I had caught. I found out that I cared about people’s dreams and their alignment to their purpose. That was the common denominator in many of the songs. Since I have stepped away from being on stage, I have found myself with more time and a deep desire to see people collide with their inner desires and gifts in small and big ways. I want to do this way more… seems connected to my essence. Sometimes it’s a whole camp or a retreat, other times it can only be one day or a moment singing and playing and locating what’s on the inside together. Every moment is a precious step towards alignment.”
She also highlighted the contributions of various partners involved with the foundation, expressing gratitude: “This page is also to highlight some of our partners at @fetchyourlifefoundation: People that do this daily, weekly, monthly..
