Mihlali Ndamase Admits To Getting Lip Fillers And Reveals Why She Has Since Removed Them. Being a beauty content creator means trying a whole bunch of different looks until you find the one that suits you perfectly. Award winning YouTuber Mihlali Ndamase might be one of the most gorgeous SA celebs but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have things that she considers to be flawed when it comes to her looks.
Mihlali’s followers noticed a drastic change to her appearance had changed significantly after posting a TikTok video for a client. Social media users had their suspicions that Mihlali may have gotten lip fillers however, she came out to refute the claims. Now that it is all in the past, Ndamase is ready to spill the beans on what was really happening.
In her latest YouTube Get Ready With Me (GRWM) video, she admitted that in August she went to a popular aesthetician to get lip fillers, to achieve a fuller natural looking lip which she previously had to do with a lip liner. following the procedure, Mihlali felt as though her lips looked abnormally big immediately however the aesthetician assured her that the swelling would start to go down after a few days.
Seemingly that was not the case as her lips took longer to shrink and ended up getting the filler “painfully” dissolved. Mihlali revealed that she paid a total of R5 500 to get the injections done. Her decision to get the procedure done was not out of insecurity but to simply achieve a more natural looking lip which she had to mimic using makeup.
“I honestly didn’t do them because of any insecurity about my lips or any insecurity about my face in actual fact. I honestly just wanted what I do to achieve a fuller lip but I wanted it naturally. I love the bridge on full lips and I wanted that bridge so I thought ‘let me just go and buy this bridge” she said.
Mihlali concluded that lip fillers are for people who have enough time to heal and let the fillers set properly. She added because she works with her face, it become difficult to do such things without people noticing.
