Melusi Yeni Denies Being A Drunkard

Former Generations, Rhythm City and Muvhango actor Melusi Yeni denies being a drunkard after rumors that he was fired from all three shows for showing up to work drunk.

The actor who is now playing the part of Sabelo in the new e.tv series, The Kingdom: Ukhakhayi says people confuse the characters he plays with the real him.

“People will see Melusi, an on-screen drunkard of note. I’ve been painted a drunkard in real life; what I know is I’m not, It baffles me why people say I’m a drunkard because I don’t drink”, he said.

Yeni says those people will get their satisfaction from me being a real drunkard in this new TV role. “And mind you, this is the best role I’ve ever played in all my years as an actor.”
