Miss Universe South Africa 2025, Melissa Nayimuli, has shared beautiful and emotional moments from her lobola celebration with her fiancé, Mandla Ngcongwane. The creative producer and director officially honoured their union in a private ceremony surrounded by close family.
Melissa took to Instagram to post stunning photos from the intimate event. Dressed in a breathtaking traditional outfit, she looked radiant as she celebrated this important cultural milestone with Mandla and their loved ones.
In her post, Melissa wrote: “Chosi Chosi…. We are still feeling so overwhelmed with the love and support we’ve received from our families. What a blessed day! So happy, so in love.”
She also gave a special shoutout to designer Stephen van Eeden, thanking him for her dress. “To my friend, the artistic genius that is @stephen_van_eeden, you made me feel and look like an African Queen in this dress! Definitely one of the best gifts I’ve ever received, forever grateful to you #MakotiCouture,” she shared.
In another post, Melissa simply wrote: “My family? What a weekend!” — showing just how meaningful the celebration was for her.
