The Miss South Africa Organisation has finally revealed the judges who will help select this year’s Top 10 finalists. The announcement, made on Monday, introduced three powerhouse women who bring different skills and experiences to the table: Ndavi Nokeri, Devi Sankaree Govender, and Liezel van der Westhuizen.
The first judge is none other than Ndavi Nokeri, Miss South Africa 2022. The organisation described her as: “TOP 10 SELECTION JUDGE. Crowned Miss South Africa 2022, @ndavi.nokerii is an investment professional, youth advocate, media personality and changemaker. From representing SA at the 71st Miss Universe competition to raising nearly R2 million for education equity through her Ed-Unite campaign, Ndavi continues to champion youth empowerment, financial literacy and digital inclusion. She is also the founder & CEO of the Ndavi Nokeri Foundation, she brings her unique lens to the Miss SA 2025 finalists judging panel.”
Joining her on the judging panel is veteran journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, best known for her fearless work on Carte Blanche and her own The Devi Show. The organisation shared:
“TOP 10 SELECTION JUDGE. Fearless. Bold. Unapologetic. We are proud to welcome South African media icon @devi_hq to the #MissSA2025 Top 10 selection judging panel. An award-winning investigative journalist with decades of experience. From her trailblazing years at Carte Blanche to The Devi Show, she continues to inspire the nation with courageous storytelling.”
The third judge is broadcaster and motivational coach Liezel van der Westhuizen. The Miss South Africa Organisation praised her with the words:
“TOP 10 SELECTION JUDGE. Tall in presence, bold in impact, and unstoppable in energy. We are proud to announce @liezelonline as one of our #MissSA2025 Top 10 selection judge. A Certified Neuroscience & Mental Fitness Coach, global emcee, broadcaster, and endurance athlete, Liezel empowers leaders, teams, and audiences to thrive under pressure and rise with confidence. This year, she brings her expertise and sharp eye to the Miss SA stage.”
This year has been full of changes for the Miss South Africa Organisation. In July 2025, CEO Stephanie Weil stepped down after five years at the helm. Earlier in the year, creative director Werner Wessels also resigned, and it was confirmed that Bonang Matheba would not return as host. These changes left many fans questioning the future of the iconic pageant.
Despite the shake-ups, the announcement of such an impressive judging panel has reassured fans that the Miss South Africa pageant remains committed to excellence. With Ndavi Nokeri, Devi Sankaree Govender, and Liezel van der Westhuizen at the helm of the finalist selection process, this year’s competition promises to be one of the most exciting yet.
