Mampintsha’s Mother Reportedly Hospitalized, Sister Asks For Help. Following musician Mampintsha’s untimely passing on Christmas Eve, his mother Zamanguni Gumede has reportedly been hospitalized as she has been struggling with accepting her son’s passing and reportedly still asks about him.

According to reports, the mom suffered a stroke and that her health has deteriorated since burying her son. She is also reportedly unable to speak or walk. Mampintsha’s sister spoke on her mother’s illness saying, “She is not taking Mandla’s death well. She started feeling ill before him but got worse when he was first admitted to the hospital.”

“The doctor says her liver has been affected and she also has been diagnosed with a stroke. But her stroke is not bad, she will not be disabled if she takes her medication. She has not been able to eat properly and that is affecting how she takes her medication,”  she added before asking for help to have the mother admitted to a private hospital as she is in need of a psychologist to help her deal with the trauma.

“I don’t have money to do that. I am appealing to the public to assist me so I can get her the best treatment,” the sister said. She also reportedly said the family was too scared to ask Mampintsha’s widow, Babes Wodumo for help
