“Madiba Told Me To Lose Some Weight”, Says Julius Malema

Julius Malema stopped by Cliff Central to talk all thing politics, obviously but he also found time to talk about health. Speaking to Gareth, Julius revealed the real reason why he has shed tons of weight over the past few months. “Madiba told me to lose some weight”, says Julius Malema.

“Madiba said to me, “if you want to lead our youth and our society, you’re going to have to lose some weight. You can’t lead our people looking like this,”” he told Gareth. Malema says although it was ages ago when he was still with the ANC, he took the advice to heart.

“It’s one advice which I had to adhere to. It has been difficult, I’ve tried since I was told by Madiba,” Malema said. Malema says now he gets a lot of support from his wife. “I took it from Madiba himself who was obsessed with healthy lifestyle and exercising and youth leadership.”
