Lupita Nyong’o To Play Trevor Noah’s Mother In Film Adaptation Of His Book! Lupita Nyong’o is on fire. Her latest movie Black Panther is breaking all box office records and now she’s got another hit on the way.
Our very own Trevor Noah’s memoir “Born A Crime” became a New York Best Seller and now it’s being made into a film. To top it all off Lupita will portray Trevor Noah’s mother.
“My mom is a powerful woman who could easily be one of the beautiful soldiers in Wakanda. So it’s beyond a perfect fit that she would be portrayed on the big screen by the radiant and regal Lupita Nyong’o,” Trevor announced on social media.
Lupita already knows a bit of Xhosa as it was the language used in Black Panther. Now we wait for release date.
