L’Oréal Paris made a dazzling return to Cape Town with the much-anticipated Makeup Masterclass 2.0, and beauty lovers across the city showed up in style. Held on September 20th, 2025, in the Mother City, the event once again proved why it has been dubbed record-breaking. Hosted by the ever-glamorous Bonang Matheba alongside the vibrant Base Queen, Uche Natori, this year’s edition promised to be bigger and better – and it delivered.
Attendees were treated to an unforgettable experience where they gained insider beauty knowledge from some of the best in the industry. From expert makeup artistry tips to game-changing tricks, the day was nothing short of magical. As if the experience wasn’t already priceless, each participant walked away with a L’Oréal Paris makeup kit valued at an impressive R6,000.
Bonang, who never holds back on her excitement, took to Instagram to share her gratitude and joy after the event. She wrote: “We had a TIME!! The @lorealparis Make Up Masterclass 2.0 was INSANE! A big THANK YOU to our Cape Town girlies & boys for joining us…so fun!
.” Her words captured the vibrant energy of the day and the love shared between her and her loyal supporters.
But Bonang’s winning streak didn’t stop there. Just days before the masterclass, she made headlines again – this time teaming up with Nomzamo Nxumalo Mbatha for a brand-new McDonald’s campaign. The two powerhouse women lit up screens in a fresh advert that fans couldn’t stop talking about. Both stars are known for their impeccable professionalism, and their influence continues to inspire African women across the globe.
Bonang celebrated the campaign launch with her usual flair on Instagram, posting: “..Those Who Know, Know.. Grab your Chicken Foldover meal on the McDonald’s app…& Greece could be calling. @mcdonalds_za #ThoseWhoKnowKnow #IYKYK.” She later added another heartfelt post about the experience, saying: “..The making of our incredible new campaign with @mcdonalds_za was so fun!!
