Award-winning broadcaster and media personality Luthando “LootLove” Shosha is set to take centre stage as the host of the 2026 Basadi in Music Vanguard Awards, which will be held on 7 August.
The Basadi in Music Awards will take place over two nights at the Joburg Theatre, with the Vanguard Awards on 7 August followed by the Main Awards on 8 August. The annual event celebrates the achievements of women in the music and entertainment industry, recognising their talent, hard work and lasting impact.

LootLove’s appointment as host comes a year after she was honoured with the Radio Presenter of the Year award at the 2025 Basadi in Music Awards. Her return to the event in a new role highlights her growing influence in the entertainment industry and her continued contribution to South African media.
According to The Citizen, the television and radio personality said it was a special honour to return to the Basadi in Music Awards as host after previously being recognised on the same stage.
“The Basadi in Music Awards has become such an important platform for recognising and celebrating women who continue to shape our industry. To return as host after receiving an award myself is truly an honour.
