Actress and digital content creator Lesego Khoza and her husband, award-winning actor Bonko Khoza, have welcomed their second daughter, sharing the exciting news with their followers.
Lesego took to social media to give fans a glimpse of her hospital stay following the birth of their baby girl, Aza. In a short video, the actress was seen wearing pink pyjamas as she celebrated the arrival of her little one.
The hospital room featured balloons and a pink cake decorated with the words “Welcome to the world Aza!” Lesego also appeared to be enjoying some sushi as she marked the special occasion.
The actress thanked everyone who supported her throughout her pregnancy and those who reached out to her while she was away from social media.
Lesego and Bonko first announced their pregnancy on Father’s Day, sharing the news during a beachside moment. The arrival of their newest addition marks another special milestone for the couple, who welcomed their first daughter, Amahubo, in September 2023.
In her announcement, Lesego explained why she had been quieter than usual on social media, revealing that she had been taking time to rest, recover and enjoy life with her growing family.
“Our family is growing, and our hearts are fuller than ever. We recently welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby girl into the world, and we’ve been soaking up these precious moments as we adjust to life as a family of four.
“Now you know why I’ve been a little quiet on here! I’ve been taking some time away from social media to rest, recover, and enjoy this beautiful new chapter with my family.
“To everyone who has sent me DMs, checked in on me, and wondered where I’ve been, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.
“Your love, kindness, and thoughtfulness mean more than you know. We’re so grateful for this little blessing and are enjoying every moment of our growing family. Our hearts are so full.”
Lesego’s message highlighted the love and appreciation she feels for those who checked in on her during her pregnancy and after giving birth.
As Lesego and Bonko settle into life with their second daughter, the couple is embracing a new chapter with their two little girls. Their latest family milestone has also given fans a glimpse into the precious moments they have been enjoying away from the spotlight.
