Lerato Kganyago Slams Critics Who Think She’s Successful Because Of Her Famous Family. LKG is not one to take any kind of trolling especially involving her career and personal life.

After a journalist named Mandilakhe Dlula insinuated that Lerato owes her success to her family name which is tied to the SABC and the South African reserve bank.

“Do connections help elevate you to certain positions or is your talent enough,” Dlula asked on twitter accompanying the question with a photo of Lerato from her traditional wedding with the SABC former spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago and reserve bank governor Lesetja Kganyago.

Tweeps were surprised to learn that the radio host is connected to such influential figures which then led to people questioning if her last name really helped her level up in life.

The businesswoman replied to the scrutiny pointing out how sad it is that men will destroy a woman’s credibility and the work put in to getting to the top without knowing the back story of how they got to their position.

She then blamed the reason for their bitterness on bruised male egos which make it hard to accept that a women can do it without the help of a man and her sympathy goes out to the women who are involved with men who have such mentalities.

“I love how it’s men that discredit women’s hard work. You have all erased my journey, my ground work, my struggles, how long it took me to be here. Because your masculinity won’t allow a women to succeed on her own! I feel sorry for the women in your live” Lerato said.
