Model Lee-Ann Liebenberg was held up at gunpoint on Tuesday. Taking to Twitter after the ordeal, Lee-Ann shared the number plate of a car, which she said followed her to her home in Johannesburg, with her many online followers.
“LOOK LOOK OUT FOR White MERC Benz BM 49PW GP JUST HELD US UP in Sandton area,” she tweeted.
And later added: “We were just followed home from Hyde Park shopping centre and help up in our driveway by 3 armed men MERC Benz BM 49PW”
Lee-Ann’s terrifying experience no doubt put a damper on her family’s happy celebrations for her youngest daughter Gabriella’s first birthday on 14 April.
The model, who is also mother to older daughter Gia, prior to the scary incident shared photos of the baby’s birthday party on Instagram.
