On Friday, May 9, the Miss Supranational South Africa organisation made an exciting announcement on social media—South Africa has officially chosen its representative for the global Miss Supranational pageant set to take place this June in Poland.
Taking to Instagram, the Miss Supranational South Africa account revealed that Lebohang Raputsoe has been appointed to fly the South African flag high on the international stage. The statement introduced her as a proud woman from the Vaal Triangle, a region known for its rich history and vibrant culture.
“Hailing from the Vaal triangle, a place that represents the rich history and vibrant culture of our country South Africa, is the beautiful and accomplished Lebohang Raputsoe,” the statement read. “She steps into the role officially and effectively as Miss Supranational South Africa 2025 and is the chosen representative by the Miss Supranational South Africa Director Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala.”
Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, who is also a former Miss South Africa, had nothing but praise for Raputsoe. She shared, “We are extremely proud to have chosen a young woman who is kind, who has exceptional leadership qualities and one who has an inspirational story to share with our nation and ready to make a difference and change lives. Lebohang will represent our country in Poland this June at Miss Supranational!”
Lebohang Raputsoe brings more than just beauty to the title. She is currently studying towards her PhD in Human Resources Management and already holds degrees in Industrial Psychology and Labour Relations Management. Her academic journey shows her commitment to education and personal growth.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Raputsoe is passionate about making a positive impact in society. She calls herself an activist for inclusion, progress, and transformation, and is especially passionate about youth and child development. She focuses her efforts on quality education and sustainability, believing that access to education and opportunities can unlock a person’s full potential.
Raputsoe also has a strong presence in the pageant world. She was a Top 12 finalist in Miss South Africa 2023 and continues to use her platform to uplift and inspire others.
