JR beat Kelly Khumalo to claim #COTCSA title last night. We might as well go ahead and call him king of reality shows as this is not the first time the rapper has scooped a title and some money in a reality competition.
JR and his Mpumalanga team took the crown from last year’s winners KwaZulu-Natal when they beat Kelly Khumalo and her Gauteng team to claim not only the title but a whopping R1 million rand cash prize with an additional R250 000 going to their chosen charity: SOS Children’s Village.
Team JR proved to be a fan favorite with some of Mzansi’s big celebs including Terry Pheto, Miss SA Ntando Kunene and KNaomi amongst others campaigning for JR and his team.
“WE MADE IT!!! Thank you SOUTH AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #MzansiCOTC”, he tweeted after the crowning. JR has previously won the Topika of Island reality competition where he walked away R1 million rand richer.
