Reality TV star and content creator Jojo Robinson opened up to her fans about a worrying health scare involving her husband, Calven Robinson, affectionately known as Boo Bear. Sharing the news on her Instagram Stories, Jojo wrote, “Sorry I’ve been so quiet fam… it’s just been a lot these last few days. My Boo Bear got hospitalized for a SEVERE infection in the prostate (prostatitis). It’s the worst I’ve ever seen my poor boo… our incredible doctor, Dr Padayachee, made the call to put him in hospital for 5 nights to fight the fevers and infection fast before it got any worse. So my bear has to remain in hospital till Wednesday. But I literally just sit in the hospital with him all day. Couldn’t bear to think of him alone. He is slow getting much better… Friday was really scary tho.”
Jojo’s heartfelt update gave fans a glimpse into the stressful situation, showing how much she is supporting her husband during his recovery. She admitted the experience has been frightening but expressed her dedication to staying by his side throughout his hospital stay.
This health scare comes shortly after Calven underwent eyebrow surgery in July 2025, aimed at improving both his appearance and his vision. The procedure, which included treatments like brow lifts and eyebrow transplants, was designed not only to enhance his brows but also to address discomfort caused by his eyelashes. Jojo explained, “Before, you couldn’t even see Boo Bear’s lashes. His lashes were actually going into his eyes, scratching and hurting him.”
Now, recovering well from the surgery, Calven shared the surprising benefits it brought to his vision. “I can’t believe how much more I can see now. It’s like the picture frame got bigger all of a sudden,” he revealed, expressing delight at the unexpected improvement.
Despite the ongoing hospital stay for the infection, Boo Bear’s surgery recovery has brought a silver lining amid the stress. Jojo continues to keep her followers updated, showing a balance of vulnerability and strength as she navigates this challenging time with her husband.
With the support of Dr. Padayachee and her constant care, Boo Bear is slowly getting better, and Jojo’s dedication highlights the deep bond between them—even in the toughest moments.
