Reality TV star Jojo Robinson has proudly revealed her latest tattoo — and it’s in a spot she admits was both bold and brutal to sit through. Jojo, known for her love of body art, recently got a stunning tattoo on her neck, finally completing it after two years of hesitation.
Sharing photos of the fresh ink, Jojo joked about her commitment. “Clearly I don’t have commitment issues… after 2 years I finally got brave enough to finish my neck,” she said. “We don’t need to share the details on how I managed to sit through it. We still have a little to finish though. FYI… NEVER take sleeping tablets while getting tattooed. It’s not a vibe… maybe one day I’ll share the videos from yesterday. Not sure what planet I was on, but it wasn’t this one.”
On her Instagram stories, Jojo didn’t shy away from admitting the pain was far worse than she expected. She explained that she even tried numbing cream, but it didn’t help at all. “I just have flashbacks of acting a psychopath and crying. People that have full neck tattoos, I give you props because it’s fucking ridiculous. It’s pain on another level. Now I have one petal undone which I’m going to have to go back for.”
That one petal didn’t stay unfinished for long — Jojo confirmed that she went back and got it completed, despite the discomfort.
Her neck tattoo isn’t the only major piece she’s worked on recently. Earlier in August, Jojo reminisced about her tattoo journey, sharing old photos of when she was building her second leg sleeve. “Throwback — I found pics from 2 years ago while we were building up my second leg sleeve… obviously now it’s complete. Let me just tell you, full leg sleeves… 8… maybe 30+ hours per leg depending on the design. The healing, the inability to walk after long sessions, the pain of blackout areas… the most painful parts of the leg are the knee, behind the knee, under the bum — everywhere really. But worth every second.”
Jojo’s love for tattoos goes beyond just the art — for her, it’s about self-expression and confidence. “Tattoos cover every insecurity you have… I don’t regret one. I love that my body is art. I can’t wait to complete the last 15% of my full body sleeve. I’m not doing the face,” she clarified.
With her neck tattoo finally complete, Jojo is one step closer to her goal of a full body sleeve — and she’s proven that no amount of pain will stop her from finishing what she started.
