Jessica Nkosi Expresses Concern Over Fake Facebook Page In Her Name Spewing Hate On Her Industry Colleagues. The actress is one of the leading celebs with a strong brand power and as a result, there are many fake accounts across all social media accounts in her name to get followers.
One in particular, a Facebook page which might have the biggest following of all the fake accounts in her name, has the actress furious and calling for help from her fans to have it permanently removed because of the type of content shared on it. The page posts negative stories about SA celebs which is now affecting the actress’s image.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Jessica put out a disclaimer saying it wasn’t her behind the page and that she’s now in a process to open a real one for herself so the fake one can be taken down. Check out what she had to say below.
“Guys there is a Facebook page that has been pretending to be me for YEARS!! And they post really damaging stuff of my colleagues and people in the industry. I’ve tried to report it but it’s still up. Don’t know what to do at this point!!! THIS IS NOT ME!!! I don’t have an active FB page,” Jessica stated adding, “My team is busy setting up a Facebook account for me now so I can go on FB and declare that page as fake and report it ASAP!! Sengikhathele..Coz people really think thats me posting. I can’t even post the terrible things they post coz it’s just horrible and wrong!!!! It’s getting out of hand!!!!“
“If you are on Facebook please help me and report the page. I’m not sure how Facebook works but please help me if you can guys. Lapho there are like 100 fake accounts in my name but this one is the one I need to address and make sure it disappears cos Yoh! It’s bad manje!!!
