Jessica Nkosi Confirms She’s Leaving Isibaya For Good! Isibaya has lost another taletned actor from the original cast. First it was Nomzamo Mbatha then Menzi Ngubane, now Nkosi is set to depart from the show.

This is not the first time Jessica has left the show but it seems this time it’s for good. Back in 2016 she left the show for a few months saying she needed a break as the show was demanding and didn’t allow her to explore other opportunities.

She went on to host Our Perfect Wedding before returning to Isibaya in 2018. Jessica confirmed her departure in a statement to Sunday World.

“It is true that I’m leaving Isibaya. I’d like to explore the industry and expand on my craft a little further. It was time for me to leave. I’m so grateful to the Isibaya team for helping me establish myself in this industry with such an incredible cast and crew. I’m still on the show and viewers will have to watch to see when my last episode is. To the viewers of Isibaya, I say thank you,” she told the publication.

An unnamed source on the show revealed how Nkosi will exit the show.

“We are busy shooting scenes of Qondi preparing for her trip to Ghana. In that scene, she will go as someone who is visiting but never returns to Ebhubesini. It is sad but at the same time we wish her all the best as there is no one from the show’s directors and producers who has informed us about her shocking exit from the show,” the source said.
